Bah...yeah, I've been a bit on the dead side with DA, but I'm still here, just tired and trying to beat Jak and Daxter....stupid water level keeps killing me. =(

This mutant Lupe was drawn with a purpose, but, uh, he lost the point during the time I was coloring this piccie. Yeah...

So...this pic became another practice image for trying out this new coloring style. I still need to know this "Light source" thingie people speak off...mine seems everywhere.

Now I need a new goal on Neopets...that stupid plot on there is messing my plans up. Site's annoying me again, so I might have to break from it.

Yes, your light sourcing is indeed a bit off. The idea is to keep the shadows on the same general side of the object; it's just a matter of visualizing your drawing in 3D or something. Other than that, I'd say the shading is well done. I like the color scheme and design of this creature; very nice rendition despite me not knowing anything about Neopets. =P

o0o0 I remember Lupe from Neopets...I thought he was a cool critter...and this is a great rendition of him you did! Very nice angle and posture...the shadows are well done...and about the lighting source..hmmmm...its almost like putting in shadows...concentrate on one area that would make a shine...just like you concentrate on one area to make a shadow...hmmmm this might be to vague...but I hope it helps...or just look at other peoples work to understand that concept! overall...this is a great piece!!! - Randerzoid :3

Very nice expression, and for some reason I love the coloring on the tail.
The skull head covering thigy seems to be just a different fur color on the side there, though. *point* Might want to fix that, unless twas on purpose.

Did I tell you how much I liked this yet? I'll tell you anyway since I meant to do so on PPT. I really like this. Real attitude in the face and position :D As for light source, I tend to think of it as rain in a way. If it comes from the right side, which parts are eligible to be hit first with the rain drops? Not the left side unless there's rain (another light source) coming from that direction too. Eh...I wonder if that made sense?
