I still suck drawing humans, but I HAD to draw this after watching the anime. I said before that Naruto rocks...I'm addicted to Naruto.

This guy is Gaara, of the Desert. [link] One of my favorite characters in the series.
He's had a terrible childhood. He was born a weapon and hated by everyone, even his mother. He's got a demon in him, can't ever sleep in fear of the demon consuming his mind. Since he never sleeps, he kinda has lost his mind.
He only knows to love himself (kanji of love is what's on his head) and kill to have a feeling of existence.

Gaara owns. Plain and simple. Gotta love a ninja that kills with only sand.

*shrugs* I still need to improve drawing humans. Oh well, this came out better then expected.
Yeah, 4 fingers 4 toes...doing 5 annoyed me for some reason.

I want the Sand Village headband.

Wow, awesome job on Gaara. ^_^ I've never really seen Naruto before, but lots of people like that anime show. :shrug: This picture looks so awesome, even if the character has less fingers and toes. XD I guess you're so used to drawing characters with 8 fingers and toes. This is still an awesome picture!! :clap::highfive:

Hey, I draw my humans with only four fingers, so it's all good:) Nice drawing, yeah, humans can be tricky, but life drawing and tons of practice will help you get more comfortable with doodling them. Keep it up!

Looks awesome! I love his moody expression X3 Cool how the sand is kinda going around his feet. The feet look cute too :heart:
His past is sad :( The lack of sleep would explain the black circles around his eyes. I'mma have to see that show sometime; it sounds good :3

I may not be a Narutard, and don't know jack of the characters, but I'll say he surely looks mentally unbalanced.

And here I thought that America had some pretty nutso ideas. We had the whole Cow and Chicken cartoon, yesiree, but nothing compares to Japan and their culture of rubber-like pirates that can't swim (One Piece), crazy bathhouses with crazy folk (Spirited Away), and now this. It's...weird. O-o

Take it from someone who knows zip about this series, but he's got an interesting character design and background. Lovely art of him. He looks recognizable.

...And he's holding an eyeball. o_o

Ditto to TP. Japanese are sometimes so nuts that their ideas turn out brilliant!!! :XD:

The character does sound interesting... :) Wonder if I'll ever run into the show...
